The AquaTru Carafe adds healthy minerals like calcium and magnesium to the water through its pH + Mineral Boost Alkaline Carbon VOC Filter. This filter is designed to not only remove VOC contaminants, but also add a proprietary blend of healthy minerals and alkalize the water.

The AquaTru Carafe comes with the first complete set of 3 filters: 1 Pre-Filter, 1 Reverse Osmosis filter, and 1 pH + Mineral Boost Alkaline Carbon VOC Filter. These filters have varying lifespans - the Pre/Carbon Filter (stages 1-2) lasts the earlier of 300 gallons or 6 months; the VOC Filter (stage 4) lasts the earlier of 300 gallons or 12 months; and the Reverse Osmosis filter (stage 3) lasts the earlier of 600 gallons or 24 months (2 years).

It's important to note that the AquaTru Carafe uses unique filters specifically designed for this more compact model, and are not the same as the filters used in other AquaTru purifiers.
